Advanced "no-stitch" cataract surgery... It's easier than you think.
In your parents' and grandparents' day, cataract surgery was considered risky, required a hospital stay and was usually postponed for as long as possible. Today, cataract surgery is performed as an outpatient procedure. Dr. Geske offers advanced "no-stitch" cataract surgery in his state-of-the-art facility. There is very little pain during or after the procedure, and you'll go home the very same day. And don't be surprised if you get a call from us after your procedure, just to check up on you.
Glaucoma — what is it?

example of glaucoma vision
Glaucoma is a disease of the optic nerve, which is the part of the eye that carries the images we see from the eye to the brain. Glaucoma damages nerve fibers, which can cause blindspots and vision loss. It's also the number-one preventable cause of blindness.
Risk factors include elevated intraocular pressure, a family history of glaucoma, certain ethnic backgrounds, advanced age or certain medical conditions. If you have more than one of these risk factors, please call our office for an evaluation. Because early diagnosis and treatment can usually prevent more serious problems.
Focus on diabetes-related vision problems.
Diabetic retinopathy affects fifty percent of all Americans diagnosed with diabetes. It damages blood vessels in the light-sensitive tissue of the retina, which could lead to vision loss. Using leading-edge technology, Dr. Geske can detect diabetic retinopathy in its early stages, even before symptoms appear.
Cosmetic Eye Care
Nobody knows the delicate muscles and tissue around your eyes better than a board-certified ophthalmologist like Dr. Geske. Plus, you'll feel better knowing you don't have to drive far for qualified cosmetic eye care. You'll find the latest cosmetic enhancement procedures right here in one convenient location.
It's not just Botox. It's Orchard Eye Center BOTOX®.
Many individuals are choosing FDA-approved BOTOX®, which can be used to diminish the appearance of crow's-feet, sagging eyebrows and drooping eyelids. Dr. Geske offers physician-supervised BOTOX® treatments for safer, longer-lasting results:
- As a board-certified physician trained in the delicate areas of the eyes, Dr. Geske will personally administer your Botox procedure for your peace of mind. What's more, his skilled hands and gentle touch can often eliminate any bruising or discomfort.
- Dr. Geske offers appropriately diluted Botox for results lasting up to six full months. This simple in-office procedure takes just a few minutes and there is no downtime. In fact, many patients stop by during their lunch hour.
Discover the beauty of blepharoplasty.
Whether it's medically necessary to treat an impaired-vision problem or an elective cosmetic procedure, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) can have you looking younger and feeling better. Dr. Geske can eliminate that "tired look" by removing drooping, saggy skin from the upper and lower eyelids. Just a few tiny incisions are required, and your recovery is usually fast and comfortable.
We take pride in our ability to provide the finest eye care and eyewear for our family of patients.
When we check your vision, we'll also check the health of your eyes, just to be sure.
That's just one of the many benefits of choosing Dr. Geske and his helpful staff at Orchard Eye Center.
